We believe that women’s bodies were made to grow, birth and feed their babies. It is our desire to support women and their families as they walk through this amazing journey.
Credentials
LaMonica Bryant, L.M.
LaMonica has been working with pregnant women and their families since 1997, providing personalized prenatal care, home birth & postpartum care, doula services and well-woman exams. LaMonica serves throughout the North Idaho and East Washington area.
A graduate of the National College of Midwifery and an independent midwifery practitioner, LaMonica has met the standards for certification set by the North America Registry of Midwives (NARM) and is qualified to provide the Midwifery Model of Care©. She is a Licensed Midwife for both Idaho and Washington, and holds current certifications in both adult and infant CPR, as well as, neonatal resuscitation.

Model of Care
The Midwives Model of Care©
The Midwives Model of Care© is based on the fact that pregnancy and birth are normal life processes and includes:
- Monitoring the physical, psychological, and social well-being of the mother throughout the childbearing cycle
- Providing the mother with individualized education, counseling, and prenatal care, continuous hands-on assistance during labor and delivery, and postpartum support
- Minimizing technological interventions
- Identifying and referring women who require obstetrical attention
The application of this woman-centered model of care has been proven to reduce the incidence of birth injury, trauma, and cesarean section.
Services & Investment
Prenatal Care and Homebirth - $5000
Individualized prenatal care for homebirth and waterbirth. Women are able to take part in the decision-making surrounding their pregnancy, labor and birth. You will receive hands on care during pregnancy, labor, birth and breastfeeding.
Services include:
- Free consultation
- Prenatal visits- every 4 weeks until 28 weeks, every 2 weeks until 36 weeks, every week from 36 weeks until birth
- Home visit at 37 weeks
- Childbirth education referrals
- Midwife on call 24 hours
- Pregnancy, birth and postpartum lab work (lab work not included in midwifery fee)
- Licensed midwife and skilled assistant at your labor and birth
- Newborn exam
- Postpartum visits for mom and baby at 24 hours, 1 week, 3 weeks and 6 weeks
- Breastfeeding support
In addition you will need to purchase a birth kit from Birth and Beyond.
Doula / Hospital Labor Support Services - $2000
Helping women and their families have the birth they desire by advocating for a mother/baby friendly birth. Doulas provide women and their families with physical and emotional support during pregnancy, labor, birth and the postpartum period.
Doula services include:
- Two prenatal visits
- Support during labor and birth
- Help with breastfeeding
- One postpartum visit.
Doula services are provided by a licensed midwife.
Well-Woman Exam - $150
Complete well-woman exams, including Pap smears, breast exams, reproductive counseling and referrals.
All services are provided by a caring, licensed midwife.

Most PPO insurance companies cover a percentage of out-of-network provider fees. Contact us or your insurance company to determine coverage.
